I first heard about Da Dirty Monkey years ago on the "Bloody Decks" fishing forum as a combination that the Kauai guys were using with a lot of success. 

I've always attributed this odd color combo to the fact that skirt colors are not as available on the other islands like they are on Oahu. It's pink and pink works, I've got some other pink combinations that I like better but the fact of the matter is that Da Dirty Monkey has cemented its name as a go to Ahi killer.

You can never have to much pink in your collection and this one is worth its salt.
